Compatibility
BayStar can only be used for single-helm, single-outboard boats up to 55 mph and 150 hp. If your outboard is 150-350 hp and up to 60 mph, you'll need one of the SeaStar HK6400 kits. If your boat exceeds 60 mph, is a fast bass boat, is high-performance, or has dual-cable steering, you'll need one of the SeaStar Pro HK7400 kits.

Cylinder (Ram)
BayStar comes with an HC4645-3 compact cylinder, which fits most outboards. Use the application guide in the product images to make sure that is what you need prior to ordering. Some outboards may require an HA4641 or HA4642 pivot plate, or HO5090 spacer kit, for proper fitment (sold separately).

Hoses (Tubes)
This kit is bundled with a SeaStar 14ft hose kit (HO5114). Use the measuring guide in the product images to make sure that is correct for your application. If not, see other length kits here. SeaStar hose kits come in even foot increments with the part number HO51XX (where XX is the length in feet). You can also use an HT4420H BayStar cut-to-length tubing kit, which is what the old discontinued HK4200A-3 kits used to come with, but the premade SeaStar hoses provide better steering.
